POLICIES:

CANCELLATION INSURANCE POLICY

We offer a risk-free summer camp registration option through cancellation insurance. We get that sometimes plans change and offer parents the option to purchase cancellation insurance a non-refundable $75 per child, per camp week fee during registration. Cancellation insurance ensures that you will receive a refund of your unused camp registration fees when you notify us by June 1, 2024.

How it Works: With the purchase of cancellation insurance, you have the option to transfer your camp registration to a future 2024 camp week (as space is available) OR receive a full refund for the amount of your registration fees as long as notice is received by the June 1 deadline.

What if I need to cancel but I don’t have cancellation insurance? Or what if I have cancellation insurance but notify Camp4Real of my cancellation after the June 1 refund deadline has passed? Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or transfers without the purchase of cancellation insurance or if the cancellation notice is received after our June 1 deadline, however, all unused registration fees will be donated forward into our scholarship fund. We are passionate about giving back to our community. Our scholarship fund allows us to provide camp resources to underprivileged families in our community who may not otherwise have such an opportunity.

*Note that free transfer of registration or full refund applies if cancellation notice is received by June 1.

Cancellation Policy Addendum

Immediate Cancellation within 24 Hours of Registration:

  • We recognize that sometimes plans evolve quickly. If you notify us within 24 hours of registering, we will cancel your registration without any cancellation fee.

Cancellation Within 6 Days of Registration:

  • Should you need to cancel within the first 6 days of registering, a $30 cancellation fee per family will be applied.

Regular Cancellation Policies Apply After 6 Days:

  • After the initial 6-day period, our regular cancellation policies apply. We encourage you to review our standard cancellation policy listed above for details on cancellations beyond this timeframe.

We value the trust you place in Camp4Real, and we are committed to providing the best experience for you and your family. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please reach out to us at [email protected].

TRANSFER POLICY

We get that sometimes plans change and offer parents two options to transfer camp registration to an alternate camp week, as space is available, as long as the request is made before the June 1 transfer deadline:

  1. Transfer WITH Cancellation Insurance:
Families who purchased cancellation insurance (a non-refundable $75 per child, per camp week fee) can transfer camp registration to an alternate 2024 camp week, as space is available, at no additional cost.
  2. Transfer WITHOUT Cancellation Insurance
Families without cancellation insurance can transfer camp registration to an alternate 2024 camp week, as space is available, with a separate fee of $25 per child, per camp week transferred.

What if I want to transfer camp weeks but notify Camp4Real of my request after the June 1 transfer deadline has passed? Unfortunately, we cannot offer transfers if notice is received after our June 1 deadline, however, all unused registration fees will be donated forward into our scholarship fund. We are passionate about giving back to our community. Our scholarship fund allows us to provide camp resources to underprivileged families in our community who may not otherwise have such an opportunity.

Student Behavior Standards
At Camp4Real, we are committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for all campers. To ensure a positive and inclusive environment, we have established the following behavior standards. We kindly ask all campers and their parents to read and adhere to these guidelines:

1. Respect for Others:
Treat fellow campers, staff, and volunteers with kindness and consideration.
Use appropriate language and gestures, avoiding any form of bullying, teasing, or discrimination.
Listen and follow instructions from camp staff promptly and respectfully.

2. Safety First:
Follow all safety rules and guidelines provided by camp staff.
Use equipment and facilities properly and responsibly.
Report any unsafe behavior, conditions, or situations to a staff member immediately.

3. Inclusion and Cooperation:
Embrace the diversity of our camp community and be inclusive of all campers.
Work collaboratively with others in activities and group settings.
Resolve conflicts peacefully and seek assistance from camp staff when needed.

4. Personal Responsibility:
Take responsibility for personal belongings and keep the camp environment clean.
Demonstrate good sportsmanship and fair play during games and competitions.

5. Positive Attitude:
Approach camp activities with a positive and open-minded attitude.
Encourage and support fellow campers in their endeavors.
Engage in activities with enthusiasm and a willingness to try new things.

Ramifications for Violating Behavior Standards:
Violations of the behavior standards may result in consequences, ranging from verbal warnings and time-outs to suspension from specific activities or expulsion from the camp. The severity of the consequence will be determined by camp staff based on the nature and frequency of the behavior.

Parental Involvement:
We encourage parents to discuss these behavior standards with their children before camp begins. If a camper is struggling to meet these expectations, we will work closely with parents to address and resolve any issues.

By adhering to these behavior standards, we can ensure that every camper has a positive and enjoyable experience at Camp4Real.

Thank you for your cooperation!

It is our priority to make Camp4Real events more inclusive and accessible to all families and kids in our community and you can help!

We now have an option for parents to donate to the Camp4Real Scholarship Fund to allow families in our community without the financial means to send their child to Camp4Real events and activities throughout the year.
