Summer Camp 2023

Get ready, summer camp season will be here before you know it! 

This summer, we will converge on the beautiful campuses of the Blue Ridge School and the Miller School  of Albemarle for the best in outdoor adventure and fun! 

Led by Camp4Real founder and experienced P.E. Teacher Scott Williams, we are a team of enthusiastic  teachers and counselors passionate about engaging children in active, empowering, and uplifting fun. 

• Who:  Ages 6-12, Rising 1st-7th Grade
• Regular Day Hours: 8 AM-4 PM 
• NEW: Extended Day Hours: 7:30 AM-4:30 PM (Camp Miller Only)

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

•  Delicious and kid-friendly plant-based snacks and lunches served daily by our partnering restaurants: Botanical, Firefly, Mezeh and Roots Natural Kitchen
• Daily lake and pool time (boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming!)
• Exciting and dynamic camp games and physical fitness activities led by experienced physical education professionals
• Hiking and biking throughout the wonderful trail systems 
• Purposeful and positive engagement with peers and camp staff

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS: 

Parents have the option to utilize our shuttle service for morning pickup and  afternoon drop off at several locations. This option is selected during the registration process and is available on a first-come basis. 

• Camp Blue Ridge shuttle locations: Hollymead and Meriwether Lewis Elementary School locations PLUS a NEW pickup location near the UVA campus
• Camp Miller shuttle locations: Pantops

REGISTRATION FEES (REGULAR HOURS - MILLER AND BLUE RIDGE)

Early Registration 

• One Student: $475
•  Additional students: $380 per child (living within the same household)
• Fees increase at 12:01am on Wednesday, February 15th (NEW Extended Early Bird Deadline!) 

Regular Registration

• One Student: $525
•  Additional students: $420 per child (living within the same household)
• Fees increase at 12:01am on Friday, April 19th

Late Registration 

• One Student: $550
•  Additional students: $450 per child (living within the same household)
• Until Camp Sells Out OR 5 Days Prior to the Start of the Camp Week

Please note a $50 late fee will be added on three days before each camp week (Friday at 12:01am). Registration for each week will close Sunday at 11am.

REGISTRATION FEES (EXTENDED HOURS - MILLER ONLY)

Early Registration 

• One Student: $550
•  Additional students: $440 per child (living within the same household)
• Fees increase at 12:01am on Wednesday, February 1st

Regular Registration

• One Student: $600
•  Additional students: $480 per child (living within the same household)
• Fees increase at 12:01am on Friday, April 28th

Late Registration 

• One Student: $625
•  Additional students: $500 per child (living within the same household)
• Until Camp Sells Out OR 5 Days Prior to the Start of the Camp Week

CANCELLATION INSURANCE: 

We offer a risk-free summer camp registration option through cancellation insurance. We get that sometimes plans change and offer parents the option to purchase cancellation insurance – a non-refundable $50 per child, per camp week fee – during registration. Cancellation insurance ensures that you will receive a refund of your unused camp registration fees when you notify us two weeks prior to the start of your registered camp week.

How it Works: With the purchase of cancellation insurance, you have the option to transfer your camp registration to a future 2023 camp week (as space is available) OR receive a full refund for the amount of your registration fees.

What if I need to cancel but I don’t have cancellation insurance? Or what if I have cancellation insurance but notify Camp4Real of my cancellation after the refund deadline has passed?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or transfers without the purchase of cancellation insurance or if the cancellation notice is received after our deadline, however, all unused registration fees will be donated forward into our scholarship fund. We are passionate about giving back to our community and our scholarship fund allows us to provide camp resources to underprivileged families in our community who may not otherwise have such an opportunity.

*Note that free transfer of registration or full refund applies if cancellation notice is received two weeks prior to the start of your camp week.
